THEY studied there?! Famous alumni from API’s overseas partner schools

In the second post of this series, we take a look at some of the luminaries that have studied at API partner school University College Dublin (UCD). The impressive list includes:

  • Author James Joyce
  • Actor Gabriel Byrne
  • V.V. Giri (4th president of India)
  • Neil Patrick Jordan – director of such films as The Crying Game and Interview with a Vampire
  • Brian Cowen, the current Prime Minister of the Republic of Ireland, as well as numerous other Irish Presidents and Taoisigh (Prime Ministers)

UCD is ranked in the top 1oo universities in the world, and many of its academic departments bear top accreditations such as an AACSB certified business school. API students can choose from a wide variety of courses and subjects such as business, arts and humanities, law, and American studies, as well subjects that are often closed to study abroad students, such as architecture, nursing, sports science, and pre-med.
