API Safety Updates – Umbria Earthquake

API is aware of the magnitude 6.6 earthquake which hit the Umbria region Italy early this morning. The quake was felt as far away as Rome, but no noteworthy damages or injuries have been reported there. There are also no reported injuries in any API program sites, and no students reported travel plans to this affected region. API directors are confirming the safety of all of API students, and reminding them of our safety protocols for earthquakes. We will post additional updates here as the situation warrants.
